Main objective of DEVAA :
Help Indian community to be connected with human values and cultural roots (Sanatana Indian Dharma).
Sanathana Dharmaโs central concept is associated with the moral and cosmic orders, the duties and responsibilities, the practices and principles one should follow to cease suffering and attain enlightenment. With roots tracing back to the Vedic period around thousands of years ago, it offers a range of beliefs, rituals and practices to organise one's life. Throughout history, dharma has served as a foundational principle, influencing individual behaviour, societal norms, and ethical frameworks. Sanathana Dharma offers numerous benefits to lead a fulfilling life even in contemporary times. It fosters personal integrity, promotes social harmony, facilitates better decision-making for societal benefit, cultivates effective leadership qualities, alleviates stress through clear moral guidelines, and enhances professional success by bolstering reputation and credibility. Moreover, dharma contributes to psychological well-being, cultural preservation, global citizenship, and serves as a moral compass in navigating the complexities of modern life towards a more ethical and sustainable world. Whereas Veda means knowldege, the very foundation of religion is given to human kind in the four vedas. Veda consists of mantra, brahmanam and upanishad. Upanishad consists of deep philosophical teachings on the supreme and the self, man and the universe, bondage and liberation. In the pursuit of promoting these timeless principles, practices and knowledge close to you, the Dharma Enlightenment Vedic Association of Australia, shortly termed as DEVAA, comprising like-minded individuals, aims to foster Dharmic and Vedic awareness among Sanathana Dharma followers in a spiritually, ethically, and philosophically authentic manner.
